<description descriptionType="Abstract"><p>9 Opalinus Clay samples, both from the argillaceous and from the sandy facies,&nbsp;scanned with the microfocus CT-scanner (&micro;CT) Nikon XT H 225 at HZDR FWOT, including drill cores and cuttings (preparation remnants).</p>
<p>The voxel size (ca. resolution) is between 10 &micro;m and 100 &micro;m.</p>
<p>All tomograms were stored as 3D-blocks with unsigned 16-bit integers of uncalibrated gray levels.&nbsp;The voxel size and dimensions are given in the file name.</p>
