    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;9 Opalinus Clay samples, both from the argillaceous and from the sandy facies,&amp;nbsp;scanned with the microfocus CT-scanner (&amp;micro;CT) Nikon XT H 225 at HZDR FWOT, including drill cores and cuttings (preparation remnants).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The voxel size (ca. resolution) is between 10 &amp;micro;m and 100 &amp;micro;m.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;All tomograms were stored as 3D-blocks with unsigned 16-bit integers of uncalibrated gray levels.&amp;nbsp;The voxel size and dimensions are given in the file name.&lt;/p&gt;
