We demonstrate how to calculate the electrical conductivity using the continuum form of Ohm&#39;s law, with the current density obtained from real-time time-dependent density functional theory. This approach simulates the dynamic response of hydrogen under warm dense matter conditions, with temperatures around 30000&thinsp;K and mass densities ranging from 0.02 to 0.98&thinsp;gcc. We systematically address finite-size errors in real-time time-dependent density functional theory, demonstrating that our calculations are both numerically feasible and reliable. Our results show good agreement with other approaches, highlighting the effectiveness of this method for modeling electronic transport properties from ambient to extreme conditions.</p></subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">dataset</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2=" "> <subfield code="s">2039</subfield> <subfield code="u">https://rodare.hzdr.de/record/3276/files/Hydrogen_cond_data.zip</subfield> <subfield code="z">md5:48d9b2aeb2427e8c6ac026da2576b419</subfield> </datafield> <controlfield tag="005">20241121075734.0</controlfield> <datafield tag="100" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Ramakrishna, Kushal</subfield> <subfield code="0">(orcid)0000-0003-4211-2484</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">user-rodare</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="909" ind1="C" ind2="O"> <subfield code="o">oai:rodare.hzdr.de:3276</subfield> <subfield code="p">openaire_data</subfield> <subfield code="p">user-rodare</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="773" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">https://www.hzdr.de/publications/Publ-39947</subfield> <subfield code="i">isIdenticalTo</subfield> <subfield code="n">url</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="773" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">https://www.hzdr.de/publications/Publ-39653</subfield> <subfield code="i">isReferencedBy</subfield> <subfield code="n">url</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="773" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">10.14278/rodare.3275</subfield> <subfield code="i">isVersionOf</subfield> <subfield code="n">doi</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="245" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Data publication: Electrical conductivity of warm dense hydrogen from ohm's law and time-dependent density functional theory</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="650" ind1="1" ind2="7"> <subfield code="a">cc-by</subfield> <subfield code="2">opendefinition.org</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="542" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="l">open</subfield> </datafield> <controlfield tag="001">3276</controlfield> <datafield tag="653" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Density functional theory</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="653" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Time-dependent density functional theory</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="653" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Transport properties</subfield> </datafield> </record>
