Large-scale Facilities in RODARE

by Oliver Knodel on September 10, 2024

With RODARE we offer the possibility to publish data, software or other digital objects created at the HZDR. Of course, their high-quality metadata plays an important role in meeting the FAIR criteria. We are constantly working on extending the metadata for our various communities, if possible without additional effort for our scientists.

RODARE also provides insights into data obtained with the HZDR's state-of-the-art large-scale facilities, such as the ELBE radiation source or the Ion Beam Center (IBC).

In order to make our large-scale facilities easier to find, we have decided to use dedicated facility communities to assign the RODARE records to the large-scale facilities and show them on the RODARE welcome page.

And now the good news:

  • Our scientists do not need to take any further steps than before: The institution information is retrieved from our publication database ROBIS and the assignment in RODARE is based on this database.
  • All existing RODARE records have already been assigned to the facility communities. If an assignment is still missing, please contact our support team here.

Records by Top-level Facility

Here is an overview of the latest number of records per top-level facility community. If your facility currently does not publish its generated data on RODARE and you have any questions about the process, feel free to contact us here. We are committed to support our scientists in sharing their results.

Records for the ELBE Beamlines

For the ELBE radiation source, we have also broken down the bar from the previous graphic into the individual beamlines.
