With RODARE we offer the possibility to publish data, software or other digital objects created at the HZDR. Of course, their high-quality metadata plays an important role in meeting the FAIR criteria. We are constantly working on extending the metadata for our various communities, if possible without additional effort for our scientists.
In RODARE, users have a variety of filter and search options available to search for records both specifically and exploratively. This blog post highlights some important options. These functions are particularly useful for the specific research areas of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), such as materials research and radiation physics. Additionally, they enable access to data obtained with HZDR’s state-of-the-art large-scale devfacilities, such as the ELBE accelerator.

After a few hours of work we are happy to reveal the new RODARE documentation system which now also ships with a blog. In the future we will present new features and announcements here, in order to make future changes and new developments more visible.
