                <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;This data set contains gas phase fraction data (void files, v.) obtained from wire-mesh sensor recordings up and downstream of horizontal pipe bends. The test sections and experimental setups are explained in the correpsonding journal paper.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The post processing was done with the Wire-mesh Sensor Framework GUI (Version 1.3.0).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The archive is organzed as follows:&lt;br&gt;
(1) Each .zip file contains the void files for one distinct location (INL, OUT or REF) for the respective test sections (S - straight pipe, B - Horizontal 90&amp;deg; Bend, Upr_SB - Upright S-bend, Hor_SB - Horizontal S-bend)&amp;nbsp; and pipe diameter (DN50 and DN200).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;(2) The &amp;#39;overview.csv&amp;#39; (separator = semicolon, decimal operator: = comma) links the files in this data set to the corresponding flow rates, FFPI degrees of membership and RGB color values as they are presented in the journal paper. The column &amp;#39;File Prefix&amp;#39; contains the explicit file indicator for the .v-files, the column &amp;#39;Direcotry&amp;#39; contains the location of in this data set.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;(3) The MatLab script&amp;nbsp; &amp;#39;openvoid.m&amp;#39; exemplarily shows how to read in the data contained in the .v file.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
